This huge choral symphonic extravaganza was composed in 1934 by Carl Orff and is widely known for its ‘O Fortuna’ first and closing movements. Its setting of 12th-century secular poetry unapologetically celebrates the joys of fame and fortune, food and drink, love and sex. Lim Yau conducts.
