Yin Cheng Zong was the original performer of what is possibly China’s most beloved concerto, the Yellow River Concerto. The piece, born of the Cultural Revolution, represents the spirit of the Chinese and the Yellow River and all it represents. Other pieces inspired by China’s biggest river are also included.
