Over 3,000 performers will be featured at this five-day inaugural festival. In attendance will be Malaysia’s first lady of theatre (Dato Faridah Merican in Mukabuku), the peninsula’s hottest R’n’B artists (in Serenade Malaysia), a SNL-type show (indicinelive!) and the elder statesmen of comedy in Malaysia Masa Kini. Politics and royalty abound; it seems our neighbours do have a lighter side.
