The small dining room in this stylish boutique hotel is austerely furnished and the acoustics are terrible, but the food is sensational. Expect to see families and society big-wigs tucking into fat, flash-fried prawns in wasabi sauce, lobsters baked in Carnation milk and shards of fragrant Peking duck nestling on slabs of pan-fried foie gras.
