Socially-conscious restaurant takes over Novus at National Museum
Advertising

Time Out says

The newest branch of this socially-conscious restaurant replaces longstanding fine-diner Novus at our national repository, with the 200-seater sporting a retro look – courtesy of round marble table tops and wall mosaics reminiscent of old-school kopitiams. There are mainstays such as the crispy curry chicken ($20) and hoisin har cheong baby back ribs ($25) from its sister outlet at the Botanic Gardens, but there’s also some playful twists on familiar dishes like the Croque Mah Ling (luncheon meat), a brunch take on the Croque Madame ($12), a chwee kueh-inspired brown buttered chye poh prawn salad ($16) and Not-So-Little Gems for dessert, profiteroles stuffed with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry icecream, and topped with brightly-coloured meringues ($12). Even better, there’s going to be a curated series of unique dining experiences centred round national issues throughout the year.
