Straits Kitchen

The traditional hawker food court concept is given a dramatic facelift at the spectacular Straits Kitchen. Designed at a cost of $6 million by Tokyo-based restaurant mavens Super Potato, the space is trimmed with steel, timber and marble finishes. The menu runs the gamut from laksa, aromatic sticks of satay and char-grilled stingray to chicken rice, puffs of naan, tandooried meats and a bevy of Peranakan desserts.
