As befits a restaurant wrapped in the glamorous folds of the ritzy Ritz-Carlton hotel, the Summer Pavilion is a slice of the good life complete with a haute Cantonese menu and interiors by Hirsch Bedner. Reliable favourites include the fragrant fried lobster noodles, Black Angus tenderloin stir-fried with vibrant peppers, and the dim sum. Every so often, the kitchen surprises with a few unexpected touches like fried courgette flowers and foie gras. Service is superb.
