Newly touted as a ‘business lounge away from the office’, this year-old lifestyle/F&B site has undergone a major revamp. Thanks to a recent partnership with the Copthorne and Millennium hotel group and JetQuay terminal, Geek Terminal moves beyond emailing and dining to serve as a hub for business travellers. Press the flesh with clients in a space that has rearrangeable soundproofing (sections can be cordoned off for private meetings). Wi-Fi is free (and Cisco-secured) and the latest Panasonic, Eubiq and Canon gadgets are available for you to make presentations. After you’re done, a limousine will whisk you back to your hotel or the airport; you can even check in from Geek Terminal itself. With geekdom coming full circle in the heart of the CBD, it’s certainly still hip to be square.
