Ignore the wince-inducingly gaudy interiors and concentrate instead on the expertly executed Cantonese dishes. Dig into their fried seafood noodles – this dish really shows off the kitchen’s chops. For desserts, the smooth almond cream, and curdlike gwei lin gao are miles ahead of the competition. The dim sum selection is limited but delicately made (try the wondrous steamed carrot cake studded with dried shrimps), so bring the folks for a Sunday brunch.
