With the warm lighting, mirrors and handsome timber panelling, this is still, easily, one of the best-looking Chinese restaurants in town. The weekend dim sum draws an appreciative crowd of tai tais and the Prada tribe, but à la carte offerings range from the very good (seafood soup ladled over chunks of crisp rice, and pork ribs stewed with bitter gourd crescents) to the marvellous (elastic-tender pancakes enfolding thin cuts of Peking duck smoked with camphor and tea leaves). On a cool day, sit outside overlooking the pool.
