Built as a response to overconceptualised gourmet cakes flooding the city in the late '90s, Awfully Chocolate started out selling only chocolate fudge cake. It now has a long list of specialities, including truffle chocolate, poached chocolates, and the Chocolate Banana – named one of Singapore's top five cakes by Time Out. The owners also run other theme restaurants: Everything with Fries, JooJoo (a kushiyaki eatery) and Mooshi Bakes, a bakery.

the chocolate cake is reallyyyyyy good. i had it for my seventeenth. It's the best chocolate cake i've ever had so far. must try.

Must tries are the chocolates cakes and cupcakes. The chocolate is smooth and rich, and does not make you sick even after consuming a lot. The pretty packaging also makes for a good birthday surprise present.
