Time Out says

The location on the outskirts of Lavender and Jalan Besar is offbeat – a no-man’s-land for restaurants – but pioneering local pastry chef Pang Kok Keong has made it work for the past eight years. Named after Marie Antoinette, the last queen of France, the restaurant-pâtisserie is punctuated with neoclassical French elements complete with velvet armchairs and elegant rosewood tables.

Always having an eye on the latest trends, Pang offers the coveted Japanese soufflé pancakes on Antoinette's latest menu. The Très Berries ($14) comes with strawberries, blueberries and vanilla chantilly cream. The star is, of course, the pancakes that so light and airy it's what we'd imagine eating a pillowy cloud would feel like – if it was made from egg whites and sugar. Speaking of clouds, let the entremets sitting on the dessert counter tempt you with treats like Fluffy ($13/449/$98), a white chocolate mousse with kirsch-soaked almond genoise, strawberry crémeux and passionfruit lemon jelly.

It's not just about the desserts either. There's schiacciata ($18) flatbread stuffed with melted camembert that you can dip into a runny sunnyside egg, a hearty wagyu beef cheek tagliatelle ($28) topped with truffle foam and the Forestiere ($16), where the soufflé pancakes make a reappearance as a savoury option served with mushroom sauce and a small garden salad on the side.
