Celebrations on the helipad
For the lucky – and loaded – couple, the Swissôtel The Stamford’s helipad will be the stage for a 12-course set dinner – champagne, bouquet, diamond jewellery, couple’s spa treatment, limousine tranfer and a night’s stay at the Executive Club Room inclusive ($9,999++ per couple). For the rest of us who can’t quite afford this extravagance, unobstructed views and a pared-down nine-course meal ($660++ to $999++ per couple) can still be had: line-caught New Zealand langoustine with ‘burned’ bread and foie gras jus, Trondheim Bay scallop with chorizo, Jivara chocolate parfait with Tahitian vanilla, Tonka bean ice cream and Mangaro ‘Grand Cru’ chocolate sauce make up half the set. Available 14 February.
