This new $5 million food court concept (or ‘international market restaurant’ as they call it) at Marina Bay Financial Centre is a whopper: at 5,000 sq ft, it’s got the capacity for 300 people and features eight stations doling out Western-style fare – from salads and pastas to grilled meats and pizzas – at affordable prices.  With their massive budget, expect plenty of bells and whistles, including a Josper grill powered by charcoal and a wood stone pizza oven (the same model used by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck). The whole project comes courtesy of locally-based private hospitality company The Argentum Group (they own British fine-diner The Royal Mail and Miami-style bar and club Lucky 13), with design by award-winning architecture and interior design firm eco.id. Expect to spend between $8-$20, with drinks.
