It’s worth spending quality time sniffing around the produce section of this market, which also sells poultry, seafood and the like. Then dive into its other famous attraction: the hawker centre. Highlights include roast pork from Tiong Bahru Roasted Pig Specialist (stall 02-38) and fluffy pancakes from Mian Jian Kueh, a few stalls down at No.34. It’s also worth investigating the food stalls in the neighbouring blocks.
