This truly is a meat-lovers’ paradise. Vegetarians, be prepared if you happen to be dragged along by insensitive friends, as the giant skewers of beef wrapped in bacon, glistening sausages and ribs falling off the bone may not sit well. However, the carnivores in the crowd can just sit back and get excited as all sorts of juicy pieces of cow, chicken, lamb and fish are carved onto their plates. Tip: avoid gorging yourself on the hearts of palm, mixed beans and potatoes at the salad bar – this is just their way of filling up your belly before the good stuff arrives. In addition to the parking-lot location and drab setting, there is also something very wrong with the service ethos. The friendly wait-staff festively prepares caipirinhas at the table to complement the all-you-can-eat meats doused in salt, but when they deny diners a glass of tap water it leaves a very dry taste in the mouth. The Brazilian tiramisu sprinkled in coconut helped provide a sweeter flavour to finish the meal.
All-you-can-eat lunch $32++, dinner $39++.
