You may not be able to get to Cuba before Castro kicks it, but you can get a little Latino flavour right in Clarke Quay. Order a mojito, and sink your spoon into the caramelised sweet-corn flan or the baked coconut pudding ($7each). $17 a pint was a bit extreme and the service took too long, but Singapore is expensive and it was a fun little place.

I have been going to Cuba Libre in Clarke Quay throughut 2011. It's a great place to eat and party. Friday night is the best with Salsa bands all night. Great menu selection and great food. I have never been disappointed.

I waited 2 hours to get me food, and it never arrived, even though the waiter kept promising that it was coming right up. My co-worker's portions were tiny. Terrible place - do not come here!
