Surely, its name is uninspired and so is its hawker location. But don’t be sceptical about the quality of freshly prepared pasta and pizza that buddies Max and Melvin whip up as you order. The $6 set meal is great value for intense carb-craving. It comes with an extremely soothing mushroom soup cooked with heaps of garlic bits, a slice of garlic bread and the pasta of your choice. Go for the seafood spaghetti with chilli crab sauce, cleverly pairing the egg, tomato and sauce with pasta instead of the usual Chinese buns, and adding a generous serving of fresh shrimps, clams and fish. The pizza is not spectacular, but do leave room for dessert. The home-made tiramisu doused in rum is light and delicious.
