The name of this mood-lit and rather plush restaurant says it all, really. Hot plates are embedded into the table of each cosy, brown-coloured booth, though if the idea of smoky cooking is not your thing, the kitchen will take over barbecuing duties. The titular chicken soup is warm and herbal-ly (but not so much that it tastes medicinal), while each mouthful of the tofu soup speckled with baby clams and broad beans revives dull spirits. Alternatively, try pairing some sizzling stone-cooked mushroom rice with thick slices of sweet boiled pork.
