Founded in 1999, this popular fast food chain now has over 1,000 outlets throughout South Korea and legions of hardcore fans (even in Singapore) – helped no doubt by the fact that their spokesman is TV host Yoo Jae-Suk, PSY’s bright yellow, androgynous dance sidekick in ‘Gangnam Style’. Their specialties include fried, grilled or baked chicken smothered in four basic sauces: black sesame tender, green onion tender, swicy (sweet and spicy) and freaking hot. Don’t miss the global favourite, swicy chicken ($25.90/ nine pieces) and plan to takeaway – the closet-sized dining space seats only 17 people in total.
