Home-style Korean cooking reigns in this kitchen. Meals normally start with a series of cold dishes, such as spicy anchovies and garlicky, hot kim-chi. Try the bulgogi bi bim bap, a tongue twister that translates into marinated barbecued beef tossed through rice; chicken stir-fried with chilli, rice cakes and cabbage wrapped with lettuce; spicy tofu and seafood soup; and the Korean staple, the hearty ginseng chicken soup.

I I visit Doong Ji about twice a week with my gf as we stay near by and great food. I think the first time I visited this Korean restaurant was around 5 months ago under strong recommendation from my friend. Service: Great! Prompt and excellent, very generous on free side dishes serving while many other Korean restaurants even charge second round serving. Food: Great! My favorite is Bibim rice, Osam bulgogi(spicy stir fried porkbelly&squid), Tofu soup with seafood, while, my gf’s favorite is Beef bulgogi(stir fried beef), Kimchi soup and spicy ricecake. They serve you lettuce, green chili and garlic with any of BBQ, the best part is they refill the lettuce for free while other places may charge you about $4 each time. Ambience: Good! Cozy and beautiful place with big LCD TV. A bit crowded on weekend, I prefer visit on weekdays. Recommend dishes: Except those mentioned above, you may like to try pork rib potato soup, seafood pancake(fantastic!) Pork belly BBQ and Korean glass noodle.
