Expect quayside prices, though the good grub and service mean you get more for your dinero
Muchos attempts to transplant a traditional Mexican cantina into a Clarke Quay setting, with mixed results. While the brightly coloured backdrop and collection of Latin handicrafts do set the scene, the hip-hop soundtrack detracts from the authenticity.
Redemption of sorts comes from a menu packed with Mexican staples and themed cocktails. Si, the margaritas are a bit on the weak side and the guacamole is light on the avocado, but the generous main courses help in making up for these shortcomings: the beef burrito is topped with thick slices of tender meat and vegetarians can opt to replace the meat with a mound of freshly grilled bell peppers, onions and snow peas. Expect quayside prices, though the good grub and service mean you get more for your dinero. Paul Williams

Worst meal I have ever had in Singapore in 13 years in any restaurant. Lousy starters & even worse main course. Ordered the Fish Cruz. It was just re-heated fish curry.

Having gone in different restaurants, I have never seen such impeccable service coming from servers. Muchos was exceptional. Entering the place,I was greeted with smiles & even a welcome shout from a passing by server who was hands full with drinks. What was even more satisfying was the food and drinks was delicious & my husband couldn't agree more. I truly enjoyed my experience with my husband there. Definitely a thumbs up to Muchos!

Having grown up eating Mexican food, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find a good Mexican restaurant here in Singapore. Yes, the prices are "Quay" related, but the food and ambiance (outside) are well worth it. We have found the service good every time we have gone (3), as have our friends. The vegetarian nachos were great, as well as the slab of ribs and beef fajitas. When it comes to service in Singapore, I would rate theirs as a 10. We have been to many restaurants in Singapore with very bad service. Any one can have a bad night after all.

We're 6 (4 tourists) dining at Muchos on a mildly occupied Monday night. It started off with requesting, 3 times, for ice water before getting the glass refilled when there was at least 4 serves standing by, 3 feet away. 3 of them took turn to address our request!! The rest of the night saw our foreign friends commenting it is the first time they have encountered bad service in Singapore (they have been here 2-3 times). Shocking! Considering it is a tourist area afterall. The food is really not worth commenting. I would simply recommend to change the chef if the Chili con carne in Harry's is about 10 times better. In short, we will never return.
