Tipples and Spanish staples
On the elevated side of eatery-laden Club Street is this stylish tapas bar and restaurant with interiors that echo the modernist streaks of Spanish gastronomy. The food doesn’t veer too far from it, either: from the open-plan, gadget-laden kitchen come creamy croquetas made with tiny bits of chorizo and fortina cheese, and served with a chipotle dip, and the mozzarella and manchego cheese bites. The 36-week-cured jamon iberico de bellota is also displayed here – a deep maroon-hued, smooth ham intentionally served in slightly thick-in-the-middle slices. This is also Singapore’s first official outlet for Bombay Sapphire gin, so expect special concoctions – the Basilico (gin, lemon juice, fresh basil and soda water) and La Cicala’s version of the Bloody Mary, shaken up with fresh horseradish and served in a salt- and black-pepper-rimmed glass.
Main courses: lunch $16-$33; dinner $24-$50.

I will come back to La Cicala even if I find it a bit pricey. I was invited to a birthday party last Saturday, and I was surprised with the quality of the food and great service we received. Gin and tonics are awesome too!

After reading the article in your magazine, i decided to visit it with my boyfriend, and we felt like going back to Barcelona. Nice tapas and ambiance ! As usual Time out giving me good tips in every city I go. Thanks guys !

Beware the doll-sized portions horrendously overpriced. Tapas were hit and miss. Spent upwards of $1000 for 10 people, and I had to nip out for supper after because I just couldn't get no satisfaction after.

I saw this place listed on your website and decided to go there! Thank you TimeOut! This is one of the best tapas joints I've been to in Singapore!!
