This stall, in an oft-overlooked foodcourt, provides tasty local dishes sans meat. Tofu skins and soybeans are manipulated into dishes that look just like the real thing. Chicken rice, mee goreng, wanton noodle soup and even sliced fish bee hoon all costjust $3.50. The curried vegetables, pumpkin with juicy wolf berries and gently spiced baked tofu and mushrooms are also popular. And the mock barbecue pork really does taste like the real McCoy.
