Documentary host and producer Diego Buñuel exposes the unusual lives lived in countries like North Korea, Afghanistan and Colombia. Going undercover as an actor in North Korea, Buñuel interviews locals on taboo topics like sexuality, the one-party system, religion and famine. In Colombia, he meets a tailor who makes Giorgio Armani-style suits, but with Kevlar built into them. The end result is that viewers are privy to a more human side of these countries, something not often covered by the mainstream media.
