Six chefs, six fiery temperaments and just six weeks to prove he’s top chef. The prize? An audience with President SR Nathan and the chance to cook him a meal ‘inspired by Singapore’. Making sure The Perfect Meal comes across as more than just a glorified cooking showcase, the producers have gathered a motley crew of chefs: Yong Bing Ngen (Majestic/Jing), Paul Froggatt (Saint Pierre), Daniel Seah (The White Rabbit), Pang (Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie), Haikal (Ember, Bangkok) and Manju (Song of India).
