Veliani Sanjaya women’s apparel draws inspiration from war and psychologist Hermann Rorschach’s ink-blotting tests; it’s bloodied, cut and mucked up. Her trenchcoat, for example, is chopped in length but elongated in the sleeve width, as if melted by mustard gas. But what’s really scary is how successfully it comes together.
