Meidi-Ya

The Japanese expat community could never get by without Meidi-Ya. This supermarket is the second overseas branch of Meidi-Ya and brings customers a wide variety of fresh food imported from Japan. It consists of a fully fledged Japanese supermarket, as well as sweet shops, a pharmacy, gelato stand, several food stands and a restaurant – all Japanese. Meidi-Ya also supplies a variety of in-house products such as a range of colourful syrup of traditional flavours for best tasting drinks labelled “My Syrup”.
