Learn about this 100-hectare wetland area’s six ecosystems and the wide array of animals inhabiting the area
Going green is part of the zeitgeist, and nothing would be more fashionable than sampling some of the six ecosystems that exist in Chek Jawa. Bring the family and take a guided tour along the 1.1km boardwalk, where you can study marine wildlife in the millennia-old coral reefs. Finish with a bird’s-eye view of the Johor River from the 21m-high Jejawi tower. Make sure you wear covered footwear.
Guided tours are only conducted on days when tides recede to half a metre and below for at least two hours.
