Like a challenge? Scenic views? Something that will get your heart pumping and your legs tingling? Then stretch your hamstrings and glutes, and take a crack at the Swissôtel Vertical Marathon, which turns 25 this year. Participants are faced with conquering 73 floors of South-East Asia’s tallest hotel – that’s 1,336 steps in total. It’s no small beer, but runners can do it for their own individual fi tness or for charity, and test their climbing skills against adrenaline junkies from all over the world at the same time.
