Famed for its Rolls-Royce limousine
services, The Peninsula opens its eighth
luxury hotel in the Marunouchi district
of Tokyo this month. Marble bathrooms
boasting flat-screen televisions, blackout
windows, portable city-wide phones,
private printers and even nail dryers are all
available in each of the 314 guest rooms.
More than 1,000 pieces of art created by 60
artists, many of whom are Japanese, adorn
the 24-storey building’s interiors. The hotel
claims to deliver one of the highest staff per-
guest-room ratios in Tokyo.
From JPY60,000 (S$760) per room.
