Amara Sanctuary Resort

Situated on the former premises of the British Sergeants’ Quarters, the Amara Sanctuary is Sentosa’s luxury accomodation choice. Set in a lush, tropical 3.5-hectare space, the resort stands out as a result of its hybrid architectural style, where modern glass, steel and blond wood elements exist alongside the premises’ original 1930s colonial features. The hotel offers three categories of rooms – deluxe, courtyard/verandah suites and villas – and has devoted a floor to wheelchair-bound guests. In addition to housing Singapore’s only Kushiage restaurant (traditional Japanese cuisine where fresh ingredients are coated in egg, breadcrumbs, deep fried and served on skewers), Si Bon, there are also three swimming pools scattered about.
