When the stars come to Singapore, they stay at the Four Seasons. Located just off Orchard Road, it’s more intimate than many of Singapore’s luxury hotels. Guest rooms are decorated in an understated luxurious style, but with local touches such as tropical plants, colonial-style furnishings and Asian art. The custom-designed beds are comfortable enough to cure insomniacs. The swimming pool is a sultry retreat, and the air-conditioned tennis courts make matches bearable in the Singapore heat. The Sunday champagne brunch in One-Ninety restaurant is a lavish affair.
