Located above an ageing shopping mall and accessed by an escalator, the Landmark Village (formerly Golden Landmark) is not easy to find. But the rooms are spacious and well equipped (including cable TV and broadband), though the bathrooms could be spruced up. If the hotel lacks character, its location doesn’t: the colourful shopping and eating options of Bugis and Arab Streets are nearby. Honeymooners and older guests might find it all a bit noisy, though the greenery around the pool provides some tranquility.
