Bad Qi at Qi Mantra
I'm about 9 months pregnant and turn up at Qi Mantra on Holland Village at 8.30pm on Saturday. Here's an excerpt of our conversation - Mae: Hi, Can I get a foot massage QiMantra: Half an hour Mae: Can i sit down then, I don't want to walk around, I'm pregnant, and I"ll wait here QiMantra: ok, half hour. Mae: Can I please sit in the waiting area? How much is your foot massage? Qi Mantra: can start now. Pay first. Mae : How much is it? And can I please get someone who speaks English Qi Mantra: Sorry don't have, eh, ok, i think have English one Mae pays with Amex, it's not accepted, they only take Mastercard or VISA. And in the meantime, they try and rush her twice into a room (while she is still waiting to sign the bill). Finally gets her credit card back & she is rushed into a room where there is a flat bed Mae : As you can see, I'm pregnant, I can't lie on my back Qi Mantra: Sorry, we don't have another other beds, I void for you. Mae : Yes please, this is the first and last time I'm ever coming here.
