i did a perm @ $350 and they charged me around $90 for hairstyling and they ask me to spent around $40 to do a after perm treatment and the hair, at the end the hair looks like $200 hair style you can have in normal hair salon, trust me... they aren't worth the price

I patronised the outlet/franchise at century square today. I was told that I would require treatment to cut my fringe. I'm not sure if anyone has heard of that before. But i agreed nonetheless, due to my inexperience. My 'treatment' became a hair straightening procedure as the hairstylist and his assistant proceeded to straighten my hair, much to my horror. I begged the hairstylist to stop on several occasion but to no avail as he said that the treatment was half done and I could not stop it unless I want to end up with my hair half done.
I do wish that the franchisor will regulate its franchisee as I see good reviews about this shunji matsuo outlet from this website.

Wanting a hair colour, I walked in requesting for a warm mahogany colour with brown highlights and a trim. A young female stylist attended to me. The colour turn out to be more brown than red and very uneven. The trim which I requested was even more disastrous. The stylist chopped off more than 1 inch of my hair when I specifically told her I am leaving my hair long and want only a trim. She also over layered my hair which made the growing out process very painful. I will never ever step in the salon again and have told all my friends not to visit.

Once I walk in the salon , I can tell is nothing like a real japanese salon , all the stuff dun really care about their own hair and uniform and japanese is really concern about the outlook , which this salon does not care, all I see is all mid age housewife cutting ppl hair .LOL , and most of they'er hair colour is fade out LOL.That makes me wonder am i going into a wrong salon .
Then I booked the Shinji ,I was so disappointed ,Personally I hate hair stylist wash my hair before it cut , and most of the japenese hair stylist I had they have a good skill of dry cut , that why I am amaze with the jap , but then this one come along just cut like no different then the other local , .I think he is too outdated haven't go back to jap and learn the new tech .and keep asking ppl to perm and colour , so hard sell .I think he ruin the name of being a japanese hair stylist , If anyone here wanted to try a real nice jap hair cut and colour , Just checkout the Hair do in Hong Kong , all stylist
been well train ,Good luck with the hair !!!
